Most of my career has been providing therapeutic services to adolescents in residential treatment and community-based programs. I  have been providing clinical supervision and oversight of clinical programs for the last 10 years. I have worked in private practice in addition to my management and leadership roles to stay connected to providing direct care and doing what I love, therapy to help others.

Years of Experience: I have been in the mental health field since 2000

Areas of Expertise: Depression, Anxiety, personality disorders, life transitions, autism spectrum disorder – specifically transitioning into young adulthood, PTSD, trauma, family issues, job and relationship issues.

Areas of Interest: Individual and Family therapy, working towards healing the individual and the family system to optimize overall functioning and well-being.

Clinical Approach: I primarily practice Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused, and Structural Family Therapy.

Education: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Twin Cities. I graduated in 2005 and became licensed in 2008.

License & Credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor

Hobbies/Interests: I am a busy professional, along with being a wife and mother of two children. Both of my children play hockey, and so I spend a great amount of time in ice rinks all year round – yes, in August too! When we are not at a hockey rink, I enjoy being outdoors. I love living in Minnesota and enjoying everything our beautiful state has to offer – lakes, forests, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cabins, campfires, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
