My internship was at the Naomi Family Facility (Union Gospel Mission) where I received extended training in DBT and Trauma Informed treatment for women and children.
Years of Experience: I began working as a CNA in psychiatry in 2007 while earning my bachelor’s degree and my master’s Degree. Upon completing my master’s degree in 2018 I began my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, and I will graduate in 2024. I will be fully licensed by the fall of this year.

Areas of Interest: Children ages 3 and up, Adolescents, Young adults, Couples, and Families.
Clinical Approach: Predominately Christian-based treatment in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, DBT, Multicultural, Trauma Focused, and Parent-Child Interaction.
Education: Master’s degree in clinical psychology in 2018 from Capella University. In 2023, I attended North Central University.
License & Credentials: Full licensure anticipated in 2023
Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy the outdoors all year round, camping, boating, hiking, and off-roading. I have just recently become a grandmother, and I love spending time with my grandson, husband, and children. I am involved in a wonderful church, and when time allows, I volunteer my time.
